Never-Miss-a-Lead

Missed-call text-back for electrical companies

You are on a ladder, in an attic, or working in a panel — not next to a phone. When a call rings out, Never-Miss-a-Lead texts that customer back in under a minute and puts the lead in one inbox, so a no-power call at 8pm books with you instead of the next name on the list.

$199 setup + $99/month — $298 first month total, then $99/month

Month-to-month — cancel anytime, no long contract. Live by the date we agree, or your setup fee comes back in full — guaranteed.

Free trial: 14 days on the website-form path — every form fill gets an instant reply by email. No card, and the trial stops on its own at day 14. Text replies aren’t part of the trial: they need carrier registration, which starts with the plan. To continue, it’s $199 setup + $99/month.

What happens when an electrical call is missed

  1. A homeowner calls about a breaker that keeps tripping, half the house gone dark, or a panel upgrade they have been putting off. You are on another job and the call rings out.

  2. Under a minute later, their phone buzzes: a text that says you got the call and asks what is happening at the house.

  3. Their reply lands in one inbox, flagged urgent if they mention sparking, smoke, or a burning smell, so you call back the right job first.

Sample moment

Sample: Tuesday, 8:05 PM. Half a house goes dark and the breaker will not stay reset. The owner is across town finishing a panel swap, his phone in the truck. The customer gets a text in under a minute: “Sorry we missed you — reply with what's happening at the house and we'll get you on the board.” She replies “half the house is out, breaker trips right back, faint burning smell near the panel,” and the lead lands in the owner's inbox flagged “Urgent — burning smell reported.” He calls back before he leaves the driveway, talks her through switching that breaker off, and puts her first on the board in the morning. She stops calling down the list.

A sample moment — this is how it works, shown with made-up names.

Why the first reply matters

If you advertise on Google Local Services Ads, a missed call can now cost you money on top of the lost job. Since October 1, 2026, Google can charge a missed call during your posted hours as a lead when the caller stays on the line over 20 seconds (the timer starts after a phone-menu keypress). You pay for the lead and the conversation never happened. A text back inside a minute is what turns that call into a conversation instead.

Electrical calls do not wait politely. No power, a breaker that keeps tripping, a burning smell — a homeowner reads that as a safety problem and keeps dialing until somebody answers, usually that same evening. The shop that replies first is the shop that gets the job.

The LSA rule is Google's, as announced. Neither point above is a count of your company's calls. Your missed calls are the number that counts. The math below uses your numbers, not ours.

Do the math with your own numbers

Calls you miss in a week × 4.33 weeks in a month × your average job ticket × the share of those jobs you would have won. The ticket below starts at $350 as an example — put in what a service call or repair actually runs at your company. One saved job a month covers the $99 several times over for most companies. If your number comes out under $99, do not buy it.

Your estimate: $1,894 a month in jobs that called and got no answer. That is a rough estimate from the numbers you put in, not a promise of work.

Questions electricians ask

What does a customer get when I miss their call?

A text back in under a minute, day or night. It says you got their call and asks what they need. Their reply lands in one inbox, and urgent jobs are flagged first.

I'm a one-truck shop. Is this built for me?

Yes. One-truck shops miss the most calls, because the person who would answer the phone is the same person up the ladder. You do not need an office or a dispatcher for this to work. If someone already answers every call of yours right away, you do not need this.

Does it answer my phone live?

No. It follows up by text after a call is missed. If you want a voice to pick up the call itself, see the AI Phone Receptionist from Northbeam Builds.

What does it cost an electrical company, in total?

$199 to set it up, then $99 a month. The first month is $298 total. Month-to-month, no long contract, and no per-message bill.

How long does setup take?

You fill in a short form, about five minutes, with your hours, services, and where leads should go. We build it, you test it on your own phone, then it goes live. Text replies need a carrier registration that takes 2–5 business days. The email path goes live right away.
